Ali Alfano

Doula, Perinatal Health Coach

Ali is a Certified Birth Doula, Bereavement Doula, lactation Counselor and a member of DONA. She also has additional training in Breastfeeding Education and Acupressure for Birth, and is CPR Certified. She is a mom of five and has birthed twice in local hospitals and three times at her home, including an impromptu water birth. She has over 13 years of experience breastfeeding and also supplemented with bottles. Having a loss followed by a rainbow baby inspired her to pursue her certification as a Bereavement Doula. Her varied birth experiences taught her the importance of informed choice in pregnancy and childbirth. She believes our bodies and our babies know how to birth. And that being prepared and having the right support team during labor can make all the difference in anyone’s birth experience, no matter how they choose to birth. Ali lives in the country with her husband and children where they raise a large flock of chickens, ducks, and geese. In her downtime she enjoys everything true crime, being in nature, good food, and learning about herbs for wellness.
